Feeling grumpy! Averaged under 1000 cals a day since Tues this week and have not lost an ounce!! You can guarantee if I had eaten 700 cals over my daily count since Tues my weight would not also have remained constant. Why are our bodies so annoying??
71.3 kg Lost so far: 5.9 kg.    Still to go: 5.3 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

perhaps you're not eating enough? are you exercising too?

not exercising. I did 5km and 10km events last year and hated every mins of training and event days. I need to find something else! 🙁

Under 1000 cal a day is way too little! It's stressful for your body and that's why it doesn't feel like giving it away - it's starving :(

If you eat too little your body starts to shut down to conserve its energy

Hi, eating too few calories allows your body to store fat as it knows it is going to be 'starved' up your calorie intake a little (im aiming for 1500 per day) and you'll get better results.

Or you should try something that actually works like keto. When you lower calories, your body lowers metabolism. You feel weak and bad and on top of that you're not loosing fat. That never worked for anyone

thank you everyone for your comments. Im going to up my calories a bit. to add... I have an underactive thyroid and already take tablets to combat my metabolism. I think I just need to be patient too and not give up. reading all your comments certainly helps 😁😁😁

update... increased my calories to average 1400 for the last two weeks and lost only 0.4kg over that time. I suppose a loss is a loss but my goodness, it is tough!

Its not all about calories, it is always about health. How do you keep up good health ? by eating a good mix of foods that satiate you, but do not have excess calories. You say you only lost 0.4kg over such a small span of time, well done.

Try a bit more and if you won't loose weight then something must not be right. Like the whole calorie counting perhaps? Try searching forndr berg on YouTube. The only thing that works.
