I am displeased, allegedly by Monday morning I had put on 1/2 a stone!!!
Now I know I can eat but 6lbs in 2 days is ridiculous ???

I wouldn't mind if I'd have eaten loads but I hadn't, I had eaten well obviously too well but that's just nuts, water retention IDK but it isn't funny either way.

It more than likely is water retention this happens to me all the time and it is disheartening, try giving it a few days weighing yourself again and you would've magically dropped them 6lb 😂 I always find green tea seems to help me not sure of any actually proven beneficial but it seems to help me 👍

I’m pretty bad at writing everything I eat in here, but I try and keep my intake between 1,500 & 1,800 cals a day. I was really pleased at the 0.6lbs off 17st the other day. I really expected it to say 16st anything by Monday. Not to be I suppose, the bad tempered child in me wants to eat a large portion of deep fried everything preferably with sugar. But instead I’m having carrots, broccoli and a 338 calorie Admirals pie, thanks for the support though guys :-)

Weight does not equate to fat. You could be retaining water. You could have gained muscle. You can also remain the same weight and go down a clothing size. Measurements are a better way of assessing progress than the scales. Water retention is often caused by inflammation. Try cutting out processed foods and see if that changes things.

The full moon can affect weight and water retention- silly as it might sound - but we are 70% water..... it always affects my weight and I’m more bloated at full moon!
