Doobrie means "something unspecified whose name is either forgotten or not known" - lol! 

my name came from wanting to be healthier.... 

My trainer came up with my initials and I was 60 at the time. I turned 64 today and still trying to get to healthy lifestyle! 

Initial to first name, my last name (maiden) then my last name. What I'm used to using as a user name or avatar name online. 🤷🏻‍♀️Not very original. I like Doobrie's 

Mines just bits of my real name I use for all things internet - Boring 

A Phooka - a changeling, and can take animal or human form; like a horse, donkey, cat, dog, bull, young man or even a voluptuous young woman. The animal Phooka is usually jet black with fiery golden or red eyes. November is month of Phooka (my birth month). In the film Harvey, directed by Henry Koster and with the great James Stewart, the giant white rabbit was inspired by Phooka. It was also the name of my beloved Newfoundland, named for the fact Phookas will sometimes take the form of a large black dog, befriend lost travellers then lead them astray into the bog. 

Mummy and daddy chose mine. They also told me I was very special

Great names! Well, mine is obvious. I have been a mom to Boxers for quite a few years now. My present 2 are mixed Boxers. Love the breed. Love dogs, in general ... I have had a dog in my life ... almost all of my life. 

Mine is a tour name. I travel with a friend from Aus and it's her name and my nickname - I'll leave it to you to guess which is which. I started using it a few years ago when I joined Mustardland and it stuck. And you Poppy? 

It just popped into my head and I liked it. I like the back stories others have.  

I was in a rebellious phase many years ago, but thought Snoop Dog didn't quite suit me! 

Back on the days of AOL dialup internet, this was my user name, as it includes my daughter's name. She is named after the poppies in France that we saw.. we went on a booze cruise to stock up after being told we couldn't have children without intervention 😊.. but then I found out I was pregnant with Poppy !!! 

everyone seems to have sensible names. I tried a few names but they were already taken. I was sitting in my bedroom at the time so my name is a description of my duvet cover. lol. not very impressive.  

Snork, you've all made me laugh - fluffy duvet cover huh - however I don't think my name is particularly sensible! That's a lovely story Poppy, so pleased it worked out for you.
