Nice perspective! Thanks for sharing. Seeing things from a new angle like this is SO important. I am guilty of letting people get under my skin (especially when I was young before I knew better). Such a waste of personal energy!

Glad u found it useful friends! I'm trying to no longer be an emotional overeater, especially carbs and this really struck a chord with me 🤗

It's hard not to overeat with emotions! 🤷🏻‍♀️So many of them are tied to us wanting to put food into our mouths to satisfy our brains and make those pleasure centers respond!🙇🏻‍♀️Depression, sadness, happiness, love, cold, boredom, anger, uncertainty, fear, hurt, emotional pain, loss,...so much easier many times to reach for the quick fix of food instead of fully accepting what we are feeling and working through it and beyond it instead of burying it under a mound of food (or alcohol, or sugar) that we are using to self medicate the issues away. 🤦🏻‍♀️We all know there are other ways to deal with issues and emotions. Some of us just got stuck on the oral fixation/stuffing our face or what I really have a tendency to think of as "Mom's Breast"stage. I swear the impulse for it starts there and never stops! 🙋🏻Just ask my mouth!😜
