Ugh...computer problems again! The fan in the box went into turbo mode the other day, so I fiddled around with some settings, turned it off and back on, and somehow, ended up with Windows7 instead of Windows10 which it had been running since the last disaster update. I thought the tech that fixed it then had uninstalled Windows7! I'm kind of glad, because I didn't really like 10, but All my files are gone. Pictures, documents, videos, all gone. Or, at least in hard drive limbo somewhere on the copy of 10. *sigh*
Weight is still holding steady under 160, in spite of a couple of carby (but still under 50 net) days.
Yesterday, my gardening client brought me a big box of veggies: eggplant (2 varieties), zucchini, 3 kinds of peppers, and about a half bushel of tomatoes. I shared some with coworkers, and am going to dehydrate most of the tomatoes into chips. Yummy!
Have a great day, FS buddies!

I want to go where you are going...How do you dehydrate tomatoes into chips? Thanks for any advice.

So sorry to hear about your computer. They are great until they aren't. Veggie box sounds like a true gift! Enjoy!

I have a couple of dehydrators, @Judyrose. I slice the tomatoes about 1/4" thick, and just lay them out on the trays, and dehydrate until they're crunchy. It usually takes about 12-14 hours. If I plan on just eating them as chips, I sprinkle a little salt and some Italian seasoning on them.

'cept for the computer thingy?!!!! Awful ...I didn't read your whole post...sorry. Just saw the last line about tomatoes and looked at your "before and after" pic again. Thanks for advice. Sorry about your computer and my selfish unsupportive post. My blinders are astounding.

What a lovely gift from your gardening client. Congrats on staying in the 150's. Sorry about the computer problems. I'm sure all your files will still be there somewhere.

Re computer -- did you have a Microsoft 365 Cloud subscription? If so, that's where your files are most likely.

I've made sundried tomatoes by slicing them, drizzling with olive oil, placing a sprig of thyme on each piece, then baking them over 10 hours at 200 degrees. These are wonderful with all things Italian, and always on garden salads with olives.

I wish I could get mine to reset back to Windows 7. I hate windows 10. At least I defaulted my browser to IE-11 instead of Microsoft Edge.
