So pleased for you? Are they easing you back gently?

Well, the last occ health dr and my GP said 1/2 days for a month, so I agreed with my boss 2 days instead of 4 for 4 weeks ( so I can take higher doses of meds if i need them on alternate days)
But the occ health dr yesterday said she thinks I can go straight back to 4 days. And I can't meet with my boss/HR until my first day back, so very anxious.
Got a GP appt for next Friday, first available. Hoping he can say alternate days on my fit note

Glad you can go back to work soon. Hope your GP says alternate days for you. Try not to be anxious about going back. I'm sure your boss will understand if you're a bit rusty after being away so long. Have a great day, Poppy 🙂

Well this is great news Poppy. The GP should write your sick note according to your instructions.. its about what's works best for you in the long run. Its your health and your GP will not want to know that you are stressed about these issues. Anxiety is the worst thing. If your boss/HR know what they are doing, .. that's the nature of what they get paid for, they will understand.. I am sure. We always think the worse!
I feel it will be great for you and you sound ready and to get your brain in gear again. But don't expect too much from yourself during the early period of being back at work. Be kind to yourself and take a break when you need it. Let us know how things go when you have the time x
