Tried the Carbquik baking mix. Pretty good! Warm biscuits again...what a treat. Felt like a big hug : )

careful! started finding all them subs for the things we are not allowed, like bread and cookies and cakes. that's when I stopped loosing. Just saying/ some things to good to be true. So if sugar and starch we are to not have I guess we just can't clone it either.

Well...sorry to say this, but....you should avoid CarbQuik. Yes it's low on Carbs...about 2gms Net per Biscuit, however, it has Sucralose. 1. Sucralose may raise your Insulin response by 20%, less than Sugar, but a rise none the less. 2. More importantly, you should not be baking with the artificial Sweetener used in CarbQuik, Sucralose (Splenda). At baking temperature's, Sucralose degrades and releases toxic chemicals "chloropropanols" a toxic class of compounds, as reported in the Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health, 2013.
