I found this interesting...(I thought it was removed in urine)

Fat 'breathed out' of body via lungs, say scientists
By Michelle Roberts, Health editor, BBC News online

"Results show that the lungs are the primary excretory organ for weight loss." They estimate that an average person loses at least 200g of carbon every day and roughly a third of that occurs as we sleep.
Replacing one hour of rest with moderate intensity exercise, such as jogging, removes an additional 40g of carbon from the body, raising the total by about a fifth to 240g.

What a daft headline! Are we supposed to think that we breathe out fat??? All aerobic exercise produces metabolites of carbon dioxide and water, most of which is excreted through the lungs. It makes no difference whether the energy source is glucose from carbohydrate, dietary fat or stored body fat. If it is used for aerobic metabolism the byproducts are the same. Take in oxygen to burn the fuel, which results in water and CO2. We all know that exhaled breath is rich in water and carbon dioxide so it's no surprise that the major excretory organ for metabolism is the lungs! Why is this news? Come on BBC, you should know better!!
