So my work jeans are getting rather loose... Not quite falling off me, but within spitting distance.

My usual procedure in this situation is to buy a another pair, of the same brand (union blues) 2 sizes down... By the time my current pair are actually falling off, I can usually get into the next pair... A bit tight but wearable for a day in the office. And being tight gives me a bit of physical motivation to keep me on track (not as tempted to eat out at lunch)!

Current ones are labelled 52", so I bought 48" (which also a bit milestone, as I'll be in the next bracket down, & 10" to my goal)!

Well they arrived yesterday... And I tried them on... They barely (& I mean BARELY) go over my backside. I can just about stuff my belly in. I was expecting tight but I don't think I can sit down in them. 😬

Turns out my "52" are mislabelled and are closer to 56...

So it's a bit of a miracle I can get them on at all, & I'm thinking it's unlikely I'll be in them before Xmas, (but I'm going to give it a go)!
