Hey, FS buddies! So, I've been absent for at least a month, but I'm back.

The stress from school, coupled with my busy schedule, has not treated my diet well. I've been finding it harder and harder to schedule time to work out, as well as cooking healthy meals. But, I'm determined not to let that stop me. Even if my loss becomes more focused on reducing my calorie intake and comes a bit slower, it's still going to happen. I've spent the last week readjusting my diet and getting back down to where I was before I fell off the wagon.

For a while, I've felt like there really wasn't a difference between me now and me 30 lbs ago...until, that is, I saw a video of myself from before I started my diet. The person in that video...I couldn't believe that was me! That certainly wasn't how I saw myself, or how I remembered looking. I still can't believe that WB was attracted to me then, or that he's attracted to me now. Being able to see the difference is pretty good motivation! While I'm nowhere near my ultimate goal weight, change is possible. The hard thing is staying strong long enough to reach it.

For years and years I thought I would never lose weight-- my body simply wasn't capable of it, I argued. Fad diets never worked, and I was always so hungry that the idea of restricting how much I ate seemed insane. But here I am, 30 lbs lighter, and still losing. While my journey is nowhere near over, I want to thank all of my supportive FS buddies for their positivity and help. With your support, I hope to reach a healthy weight and sustainable way of living.

Sorry for the long winded post, I guess I'm just in a introspective mood today! Hopefully I'll be back to daily entries soon. Until then, best of luck to all of you!
