I'm pretty pleased with myself - today I passed a milestone, literally. I walked 1.04 miles, the first time I've managed that distance, without the use of my stick for the first half mile. So happy. Alright, my ankle has been completely locked since but I'm sure it will get over it. Cheviots here I come!

I'm feeling very good in myself, I may have a weigh in tomorrow - but I might not. However, I'm finding it confusing in reading the literature on keto diets. They say eat to satiety, don't be afraid of the good fats but stay near, or on, your calorie allowance. I'm not having breakfast most days, although I do have a fatty coffee, then lunch and dinner. I feel satisfied, I don't feel the need to snack - but I have problems staying within my calorie guideline.
Perhaps I should give it another week, see what happens to my weight/measurements, then decide if I should be worrying about calorie intake. To be honest, I haven't tested myself to see if I'm in ketosis. Why? It smacks of obsessive and the idea is to enjoy your food and free yourself from the constant battle with it.

I'm feeling pretty good! I haven't weighed or measured myself today but my clothes don't feel as tight. I'm not eating most days between 8pm and 12pm the following day, I do have a fatty coffee in the morning. I am finding it quite easy, I'm on a keto type diet, it seems to be keeping my appetite under control - I'm not going down the route of testing myself all the time though!

Same weight but a loss in the inches department. 2" now off my waist, hips the same, 1/2" off my thigh. Heading in the right direction.
