Hi everyone, I need to get healthy and I need help! My waist circumference is 41, my diet is poor, and my exercise non-existent. I have flat feet, plantar fascitis, the joint pains have started, and it’s all too easy to give up on the hitting 10k steps every day because of having to rest every time I have a relapse. I have young children, one with additional needs and I don’t sleep much so am perpetually exhausted. I struggle to cook healthy balanced meals especially if I have to cook separate meals for everyone. I have always been terrible with self care, I was never taught it growing up and so I put everyone else’s needs before mine. I have poor sleep hygiene, I struggle with anxiety at the best of times but more so after having children. I have a horrific sweet tooth and never manage to stay away from the chocolate, cakes, ice cream. And I’m now peri-menopausal to top it off.
I need to change my lifestyle and habits long term as I want to live a long healthy happy life so I can raise my children and watch them grow as well as teach them good habits so they can grow into healthy and happy adults. I have 8 months until I turn 40 so I’m setting that as my personal target, so I hope you will all help me get there!
