I had a great day at the races yesterday - with my family, lovely weather and won on one of the races. was dreading what I would end up eating but managed with little effort. we stopped at a pub on the way down and I had new potatoes, salad and salmon. I did have my 'free' drink - a glass of rose - when I got there (it was part of the prepaid package) but then I just nibbled on my pumpkin seeds that I had taken with me. I was offered chips (twice) and turned them down without any hesitation.

HOWEVER ... today I have afternoon tea booked - the full works. there is no getting away with this or substituting and so I am just going to embrace it. :-D

Hi Maxine, it's great to have a fun day out, treat it as a reward for all your hard work and one day will make little or no difference in your life long plan. Glad you enjoyed yourself well done

Well done with the restraint yesterday. Just remember for today that if you're going to 'cheat' make sure it's with something worthwhile - be choosy. Have a great day!
