~Words of Inspiration~

Since, I joined this site I can honestly say I've read a lot of inspiring words and sentiments from other FS members and a few from articles on weight loss. So far, these are some of my favorites...

1) From a member that diverted from their track, but quickly got back on: "Biggest lesson I learned from all this is that it can be much tougher to get back on the wagon then it is when you first begin a diet"

That sentiment really resonated with me and keeps me motivated to stay on track. I may not be perfect about it, but I've come to discover most of life is not about striving for perfection, but learning to embody a sense of well being and wholeness.

2) To the FS member that wrote the whole entry about dealing with their "Inner Bully", all I can say is "no truer words..." I think every single human can attest to the fact that they struggle with an inner bully. Half the time I'm working out, I feel like I'm wrestling with that annoying brute, telling me what I can and can't do. Sometimes, I feel like part of embodying a healthy lifestyle is learning how to defeat that negative inner voice. A great deal of thanks to the person who wrote that entry, it was nice to know I'm not the only one.

3) My favorite quote from an article on bodybuidling.com: "Whatever diet plan you choose, if you can't see yourself eating that way in 18 months, then nine times out of ten you won't stick with it...you want to choose a plan that allows you to continue making healthy choices in the long run not just in the present moment."
