A new low today...I'm in the 170's! And my collarbones made an appearance for the first time in years and years. I looked in the mirror, and there were actual shadows under them! Wow! I love hitting thrift stores..you just never know what you'll find. The other day, I got a pair of 5 lb dumbbells for $1 each, and some neoprene swim gloves that turn my hands into power fins. When I brought the dumbbells home, the bag was almost too heavy for me to carry. But I have them sitting in my office, so every time I walk by them, I do a few reps of curls, tricep extensions, side lifts, etc. They are starting to feel not so heavy any more. And using my neighbor's pool has really helped in the last few weeks. I was able to do 15 minutes of jogging in place without even getting out of breath. I was stunned. I also did squats, stretching, stationary kicks, and a few other things that made for a nice, 45 minute workout. Which is about 100% more exercise than I was getting 3 weeks ago. It's working. Yesterday, I caught sight of my forearms in the mirror, and good golly, I could see muscle definition, and watch them move under my skin. Every day there is a change..some big, some small...but it's getting to be a lot of fun watching my body reshape itself. I want to thank everyone who supported my last post about my epiphany. You all helped more than you will ever know.

I had to look up disc golf on Google! It seems to be like a sort of Frisbee game, with a basket. I need to do something - well anything really. You're doing so good!

@Doobrie, yes, that's it. It has the same rules as ball golf, but instead of a hole in the ground, your goal is a metal basket about 3 feet off the ground. Instead of different clubs, you have different discs, the configuration of which determines how they fly. My bag usually contains 12-15 discs with different flight characteristics. One of the main differences is that there are very few 'fairways' in disc golf, and most good courses are in wooded areas. You have to throw around, between, and sometimes over trees and bushes! And then there are the water hazards...Golf discs don't float any better than golf balls do. LOL And around here, many of the water hazards have alligators in them!
