Hipaagrammy's Journal, 11 Aug 15

Hopefully my last day in the hospital. No fever, able to hold down food. Sepsis has kicked my butt. I'm a little nervous about how to add in food and exercise as I recover at home. I think I will just go with what sounds good as far as food goes - of course avoiding processed junk. And as far as exercise...I think I'll just start by walking around the house and build up to other exercise as I get stronger.

Yes, don't overdo it. You need to just be concerned with getting well. I know if you just stay off junk food and processed foods you will do just fine. Hope you get well soon.

If you are recovering from infection and antibiotics stay away from sugar and take probiotics to promote gut recovery

Even tho I haven't had Sepsis, I spent a lifetime in and out of hospital(s) for MANY health reasons and problems... I hope u feel better and stay strong.. You can do this.. If I can lose 60 pounds in a chair, along with health problems, u can too..
