Heyy as much as you would like to lose that much in a month, try and avoid giving yourself a set amount to lose as it would make you feel like you're not doing enough when the scales don't move and then demotivating you eve more. Also remember it's not just about the numbers think about inch loss and just generally feeling better, taking before/after pics helps too! There are many non scale victories! Start with small changes, like set a daily step target, drinking enough water, eating enough protein in a day. And try not to cut your calories too low as you'll end up doing more harm then good. It's better you eating accordingly as opposed to restricting yourself too much then once you go back to eating 'normally' you put the weight back on. Sadly it's a vicious cycle, I'm currently on my third time losing weight and it's much easier putting weight on then taking it off! And I didn't put it on overnight so I know it'll take a while to lose weight. But just be patient and you'll see results! Try and fit in a few workouts in the week, it will do wonders for you mentally, physically and emotionally. And as long as you're in a calorie deficit a few treats here and there isn't going to hurt! It's about having a balance, enjoy the process don't make it feel like a chore and you're doing something wrong when you have a little choccy!

The calories you are eating are for a child, not for an adult looking to be in a calorie deficit. Im only 5ft 2 and cant do any exercise, but have found I can lose weight on 1600 kcals a day. I know every one is different and our bodies need different amounts but when you are that strict its hard to maintain and are more likely to fall off the wagon. To have a consistent loss, eat well, but within a deficit and try not to set yourself goals that are difficult to achieve. I know slow & steady is boring, but quick wins are usually followed by quick gains. Wishing you the best on your journey.

Have you thought about doing the #carnivore diet? It works wonders for many in the way of sorting out their insulin resistance and mental health. Check out Dr Martin of Martin Clinic, he explains why eating eggs, meat and cheese is the best way to empty our livers of crud and improve our horromones.

Hi Nadia, I wouldn’t recommend cutting as much as you are, you may be feeling the burden of all this overwhelming time due to starving your own brain of the energy it needs. Often people forget that when they’re cutting as much as they are, they’re not only starving their body which makes them feel fatigued, but also their brain which can lead to depression and negative thoughts. Try to up your calorie intake to a point where you feel like you have energy to burn in order to go on a walk, or even a run. Exercise (in my opinion) is the most important part of losing weight, and if you are feeling too drained to do that, my suggestion is you need to up those calories. I’m only saying this because I have been in your shoes. Sending love ❤️

Definitely recommend walking daily. It's so good for my mood and mental health as well as all the physical benefits and you will burn some extra calories. Be careful not to reduce your calories too much, your body could start eating more muscle than fat. I hope you feel better soon.

I find that 1000-1200/day was too drastic for me. So instead of concentrating on restrictive diet, I decided to only go for a 200 calorie deficit per day, and teach myself healthier eating habits. I am on 1500 to 1700 cal/day now. Apples have become my best friends. They are fantastic fillers against that creeping hunger. they're on the table, in my bag, easily accessible. Anyways, no matter how I feel emotionally now, my new approach is working, slow and steady.... good luck!

Totally agree with everyone. My only addition is that personally I have increased my fish intake and reduced red meat due to the high fat content. Fish is high in protein and low in fat and high in nutrients. I also don’t know if you exercise at all but I think it’s much easier to loose weight with exercise than just diet alone. Good luck.
