I made it through yesterday without going over 2,000 calories. I had sabotaged myself before 9am, and spent the rest of the day trying to make up for it by making low-cal choices and refraining from having some things I wanted. I reminded myself, "Delay, don't Deny." There's nothing that I wanted yesterday that I can't have at some later time if I want it and PLAN for it.
Went to the store at 7am and got Land O' Lakes Butter for $3.99/lb (I got EIGHT - they work out to $5 each at BJ's, and they're usually $6.99 at the grocery store). I also bought TWO watermelons for only $3.49 each. I love when I get a good sale. Ranier Cherries were back up to $6.99/lb. but, you know what, I'm WORTH it! I combined two bags and it came to over $14, but there's a very short "in season" window, and I want to enjoy them while I can!
OK, gotta finish getting ready for the pool. Kids will be here in a little over an hour.
