Debbie Cousins's Journal, 18 Jan 22

Ok, here's the deal. I explained this two years ago, but a lot of you are new and don't know this. The Profile Picture I have been using was taken three years ago (I was 64), and it was after having had a Sephora Makeover. The picture made me look at least ten years younger than I am. Here is a picture of what I "really" look like, right here, right now (taken on Friday), and I am going to change my profile picture to reflect the more accurate image. This is at 249 pounds (the other was probably around 220). So, now you know.

Things are going ok. Still haven't crossed over into the 250's. 249.2 this morning. Still eating "normally," which means not following any diet plan. Still getting more exercise (since October) by doing my Price Monitoring jobs at two grocery stores. All I have to do is walk to each of the products, and take a couple pictures, and answer a couple of questions. For that, I get paid $1 for each product. It doesn't sound like much money, but I've made over $3,000 doing it for the past three months; and it only takes me 1-2 hours each morning.

Now, to change that profile picture!

Nice to meet the true you, Debbie! You look like a healthy attractive woman with a twinkle in your eye! So glad you've found a job that gets you daily movement and some cash! BTW we're the same age, so I'm also working to embrace my late 60's look.

LOVE this photo and your willingness to be 'real' with us. I think you're adorable 💙 I am also in your age bracket (turning 66 next month). Sounds like that job has been a super blessing to you in several ways! Keep on 'movin' and soon you may want to make some changes with eating too...it's a process, right?🤗😉

Hi Debbie, good to see & hear from you. I've been up/down & all around also. I'm back and it is a slow process but I'm taking it one day at a time now, sometimes 1 moment at a time! I'm also 67 with a stubborn metabolism. Thank you for your uplifting post & honesty. I need to change my profile pic & intro also, it has been awhile. I have a phone that doesn't download pictures but I'll figure out how to do it one of these days.

Well you look healthy - and joining the rest of you - I am almost 65 - in just a few more months. It is not that we cannot "learn" - just that we were busy doing other things in our life. We were the generation that always managed to put ourselves last - we always came first - just as soon as everything else gets done.
