I think I'm starting out where you started out. I'm at 210 lbs, and I'm trying to get to 160. Did you just lift weights mostly? What were your deficits like starting out?

No idea, I didn't count calories at all when I started. I followed the Diet for Life book, It suggested 5-6 small meals with a fist size portion of lean meat, a carb source, and a healthy fat. Usually a handful of almonds or natural peanut butter. That was back when I ate "clean" because I thought it was necessary. It was also 18 years ago. I lifted and would then hit the heavy bag for cardio afterward.

Lower end of the sweet zone for me. I know what areas I am working on when I go to the gym each day, but I don't know what exercises I am going to do when I get there usually.

I know my workout before going, but always wind up adding something. I'm the right side of the sweet zone.
