Well it’s my moms birthday today. She’s been gone for almost 9 years. How can one express how much you miss a person who was everything to you ? Words seem paltry and wouldn’t even do her memory justice. I hate the holidays without my parents. Now with the passing of my baby Chilly and sister Kelly...feels like holidays are just a party for one scenario.
I typically throw myself into work. It’s what I got and it keeps me going.
Not today. Today I am going to take every opportunity to appreciate her and think about her. December is the hardest because I have my dads birthday and then right after it’s my moms.
I’m 35 and it keeps getting harder.
