White Chocolate Chip Cookies
Super easy to make and are the perfect sweet treat or snack.
Ingredients
Directions
- Mix flour, baking powder, cornflour and salt together.
- In another bowl, melt the butter then add the brown sugar and granulated sugar. Mix until there are no lumps.
- Whisk the egg and the egg yolk into the wet mix and then add the vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ones and mix with a large spoon or spatula. The dough will be very soft but thick.
- Fold in the chocolate chips. Cover the dough and chill in the fridge for at least 2 to 3 hours.
- Take the dough out of the fridge and let it soften slightly at room temperature for 10 minutes.
- Preheat oven at 160 degrees for a fan oven. Line baking sheets with greaseproof paper. Roll the dough into tall balls.
- Bake for 12-13 minutes. Leave them on a baking sheet for 10 minutes after taking them out of the oven. Then transfer them to cooling racks and place them into an airtight container when completely cooled.
