Everyone deserves a little treat with their morning or afternoon tea, and this moist tea cake does the job beautifully.
Ingredients
Directions
- Heat milk until it’s lukewarm, add yeast and set aside for 10 minutes.
- Mix all ingredients in a kitchen machine or knead from hand until it’s a smooth kind of tacky dough. Set aside to rest until visibly doubled.
- Cut into 8 equal pieces, roll them and set aside on two greased baking tins for another hour.
- Bake at 180 C for 15 minutes.
