I know it's easier said than done, but don't be disheartened you'll get it off again in no time! This weather is so annoying it makes everyone crave more but we can also burn more off 😊 that's if you can make it to a gym in your area 😂

definitely weigh in weekly! it'll make you feel good when you see those bigger drops from longer periods of time.

I know it’s hard not to be disheartened when you don’t see the numbers going down but try to keep your chin up and you will get there. Definitely weigh in once a week!

Stay off the sad step (Joe Wicks’ term for scales)! Sending positive wishes your way 🙂

It's my first week I don't check my weight daily. Very hard to resist but so many FS friends said it is better. I believe in them and this community :) so don't worry you'll get there! We all have good days and bad days.

Yep if daily weighing upsets you then dont do it - It has benefits but you need the laid back mentality otherwise it'll be like torture. Being male I'm pretty stable from weight variation due to hormones but even so can and do alter 5lbs or more especially as I weigh in after exercise so shows more weight loss due to fluid loss than fat , If you do decide to continue daily then you have to be disciplined to use it to produce trend data not a bat to beat yourself with daily !!.

Definitely switch to weekly. I used to do it daily right at the start of my journey but it would dishearten me. Choose a day, I go for the one where I'm not at work so can have a more relaxed get up in the morning, and keep that as your weigh day. Our bodies fluctuate on a daily basis so it's hard to see progress from one day to the next. Keep going! :)

I agree, definitely don't weigh everyday if it's disheartening you. I too was weighing myself everyday (although not recording), I found it really disheartening to see either small gains or very small losses. I'm only going to weigh myself once a week now as I think it will be much more of a boost to see a decent loss rather than 0.2 of a lb here and there. Good luck.

Weighing daily is soul destroying when you're seeing the numbers going up and down. Keep going and let's see how you're doing a week from now x
