Got a lot of the packing done now, so back to logging everything this week. Ten days till we move 😱
60.1 kg Lost so far: 4.8 kg.    Still to go: 0.3 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

You really didn't have much notice to find a place but glad you found one that you are happy with. Good luck with the packing up.

Thanks all. We have been renting a house in Spain for the past five years. We rent year-round and it has been our main home, but we only spend the cooler months there, October to May. The owner is selling, so we are moving to an apartment in a new building in another village, which we will use in the same way.

Glen, it can be difficult. I think you are a very sociable person, which makes it hard. I try and balance up social events, which usually involve eating too much of the wrong stuff and maybe drinking alcohol, with days or weeks when I rigorously watch what I eat and get plenty of exercise. I guess it's about priorities, which vary. It's a balancing act. I haven't been doing it for long enough to say that I'm confident about being able to do it long-term! But at least I've learned that I can lose weight when I try properly. Oh, and I weigh every day unless I'm away from home, so I always know how I'm doing.
