Yasmine15585's Journal, 10 Nov 17

9 day weigh in. Not a lot of loss! 2lb or thereabouts. But I'm still yet to gain at all. For the next 7 days I'm going to be good, no going over calories whatsoever. I usually go over a hundred or so 2-3 days a week. I want to see the difference if I don't and hopefully it'll give me a push to be that extra bit strict.
101.1 kg Lost so far: 11.1 kg.    Still to go: 33.1 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I'm strict with calories and haven't gone over on any day for ages but still, occasionally, my weight increases a little. Yours has gone down so don't be so hard on yourself. Well done.

Good stuff Yasmine, a loss is a loss. But yeah, I'd be interested to see what happens if you have a strict week like 1500 cals a day or something. Go on girl, it's only a week. 👍

Neil, I've set myself a 1350 cal limit, which can be difficult at times. But I have at least one day eating out and a cooked dinner a week which are tipping me over. Then sometimes there's a naughty day in there too! I will report back next Friday at let you all know how it goes!

Promise yourself a naughty day on Saturday only if you're good as gold all week. For the first couple of months I was eating about 800-1000 cals a day, but I always had one day a week where I could relax it a bit.

I’ve never followed a calorie controlled diet like I am with this app. I’ve done virtually every diet under the sun but always resorted to crash dieting and got quick weight loss gains. Yet here I am at 53 back dieting again so the moral of the story is - none of that worked as a long term lifestyle change. Since starting this calorie controlled diet I’m eating three meals a day whatever’s around but making sure I stay within the limit - or thereabouts. In the four weeks I’ve been doing this I’ve lost 11lbs - I could do that in two weeks crash dieting so this is much slower and in the last 8 days I’ve only lost a few ounces because I’ve went over the daily limit a few days by a 100 or so, but my point is, this way might be slower but it works and is re-educating me on my eating habits to eat at proper mealtimes and not to starve which is not sustainable in the long term. So I’d say don’t be disheartened any loss is a loss and is good 😁

I think I might just Neil! Aw ArcRose, I'm really glad it's working for you. This is my first time dieting but I've definitely been needing to do it since I was 12!
