Still maintaining weight, but I really want to lose some pounds before Christmas. Basically I had too many outings last week, too much wine. It was enjoyable, but not getting me closer to my long-term weight goal, and I have to knuckle down a bit. Not so much planned for this week, so I am hoping for a loss next Monday. Hope you all have a good week!
66.7 kg Lost so far: 1.8 kg.    Still to go: 1.8 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

... but I do know what you mean about losing weight before Xmas. It's going to be a tough one for me. I don't know how to get my head around seeing so much junk food and not being able to eat it.

Hi Heidij123...I'm thinking its 10 weeks till Christmas and at 2lbs a week that's 20lbs!! That would be the best Christmas present we all could have!!! I'm going to start making some low calorie tasty soups tomorrow...also going to look for some low calorie sweet dishes too as I do need some sweet foods! I'm going to go back to planning my weeks food and factor in eating out as I have a few nights out this week! Good luck!

Crimble is a good target but I think should be enjoyed also. I fully intend to eat mince pies and drink rather too much damson gin and worry about losing it after. I have a girlie lunch in early December which is not something at which I can deny myself (not that kind of restaurant) and that is my goal. I shan't be my ultimate weight, but if I can get within a stone of it I will be very happy. Softly softly, catchy monkey!

Thanks for your encouraging comments. I am chuckling at Spiritspell, you are so right! In fact I'm going to add that to my signature on here, so I will see it often! And StrangeTrout, Damson gin, yummy! Good luck to everyone with their pre-Christmas goals, whatever they may be 😎

Maggie, soups are always good. If you aren't doing really low carb add some cooked legumes so they are extra filling for not a lot of calories and lots of nutrition.

Heidi, you will get there. I know you also love to explore the walking trails there in Spain.
