Tatmummy's Journal, 10 May 16

Hello all - I have stopped actively 'dieting' (because who wants to live like that!) but I find I choose lower calorie stuff more now without really thinking about it. I also skip a meal if the previous one was a 'blow-out'.

I'm being sure wo hop n the scales every now and again to, so nothing has the chance to 'creep up on me' like 14lbs did in 2014!

In news bound to help any weight loss - we are getting a puppy! I will spam the site with puppy pics when we find the right one :-)
63.8 kg Lost so far: 6.5 kg.    Still to go: 0.3 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I tend to do something similar. I only actively diet when my weight creeps up. I try not to go 2 or 3 kgs above fighting weight. I know when the extra weight is on and then try to act accordingly. I have a border terrier. She is a fantastic dog but a lot of work. Intelligent, demanding, funny, independant but loving and as feisty as they come.

Basically once you have learned the lifestyle change needed to maintain a good weight, the ultimate test is not to write it all down.

I've also stopped 'dieting' although i still log all my food on here and if you look at what I eat you'll realise that I definitely do not go without my treats. What I do do though is listen to my EasyLoss hypnosis app every night and follow their 4 simple guidelines. So far I've lost 22lb. I was finding dieting quite depressing
