Work got in the way of some things this week, but it's also just another excuse. I only did one YouTube workout and really enjoyed it. Did my daily walk besides one day. Had my cellphone in my backpack yesterday for a nice long walk in to town and Google Fit only recorded 27 minutes instead of over an hour - so annoying! Suppose I'll have to keep it in a bag on my hip as I usually do for it to work.

Daily average calories last week was 1928 - a small improvement from the 2015 the week before. I will keep trying to lower it, but I'm ok with basically maintaining for now.

Hope you're all heading for a lovely weekend! I'll be working, but will take some chill time tomorrow to do grocery shopping and walk round to a coffee morning fundraiser nearby. I'll probably buy some cupcakes or carrot cake - they will be tracked, but they will also be thoroughly enjoyed! Nothing beats home baking!

My phone needs to be in my trouser pocket for Google Fit to record accurately, usually works in my jacket pocket too,, and of course you have to help raise for funds for your local charity and buy the cakes 😂 enjoy!

Thanks Booty! Yes, I'll just have to make sure my phone's in a good place from now on. The charity is MacMillan Cancer Support so it's for a very worthy cause - and I'm sure the cakes will be lovely! Hope you have a good weekend too!

Well if it's for MacMillan....that means you have to buy 2cakes 😂 An amazing charity, my cousin works for them and I also give money each month!

I'm having that same struggle. Work is demanding and the number of hours in the day is the same. Put yourself first. I'm trying to remind myself to do the same daily.

Kat, I hope this week is going better for you too! I'm hoping to go for a nice long walk later and I've just bought my long awaited weights so I'm very excited to start using them. Thanks for the great advice - got me to jump at the chance to go and get them this morning. xxx
