Nikina70's Journal, 20 Aug 21

This morning I did:
Juice & Toya - 30 Minute Full Body HIIT Workout (No Equipment + Modifications)
to complete my 90 min target for YouTube workouts. Happy with that and what the scale says this morning.

I'm doing 5 instead of the 4 planned 16:8 IF days this week then will take a break over the weekend and see about repeating next week. Think I'll switch up my oats and granola at noon for something savoury though and then go back to it the week after.

Water consumption is still not quite up to scratch, but I'll work on it.

The IF has really helped to reduce calories, which I knew from past experience - not sure why I didn't do it earlier, but I guess you've got to be in the right mindset for it. This week I might actually be on target for 1700 average calories a day. If I can keep this up for the next 4 weeks or so that would be great. Still walking daily, but only hit my 7500 step target once this week so far. Not bummed about it because I'm still getting a walk in daily and that is 350 to 700% better than what we were doing at the start of the year. Going for a walk along the canals this morning before doing grocery shopping to take advantage of the good weather.

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

I usually do 5 x 15:9 IF a week. I would prefer to do the 16:8 but can't quite get there. The 15:9 fits so perfectly with my routine.

Anne_145 that sounds great! I'm hoping to add it to my routine for a while. At one stage I had done it for about six months and then I guess I reached my goal and stopped, but it actually makes things so much easier. I think whatever works for you is great!

I'm imagining how good you must have felt with everything you accomplished! You're inspiring me! Exercise is such a great way to burn off stress! I need to get back to it!!!

You have so much happening right now bearnoggin. Take it easy on yourself - exercise can be a great de-stressor, but a long walk or a nice hot bath with bubbles can also clear the mind of all the 'things'. I need to get back to working out again too - been in a bit of a funk lately, but today is a new month - time for a fresh start! Hope you have a great September too! xxx
