It's not Friday, but I've done my 3 workouts for the week and I finally have some positive movement on the scale so I'll record it today anyway. Probably will fluctuate again, but we'll see what happens. I'll probably weigh in again on the 12th after my week of indulgence is over and I'll get back to tracking again from Monday the 8th.

Think I might try 1850 calories then as an experiment. It's closer to what my maintenance calories would hopefully be at my goal weight so let's just see what happens. This week I've felt very hungry again - to the point that I think it's why I lie awake at 4am in the morning. Also this morning I did a 30 min leg workout and decided to try it without water, which I usually have on hand. I had weighed myself before this already, but I think it was a really bad idea. I got all dizzy in the shower while washing my hair - it felt the same as when I had Covid a month ago and was a really crappy reminder. Took me a while to feel better again and standing up made it worse so I ended up laying on my bed until it went away. Took about 10 minutes. I did not enjoy that and don't really want to repeat it so I'm just thinking that for now I'm gonna just take a break from calorie counting - at least for this next 10 days, which I was planning to do from Saturday anyway, and then I'll come back to it and see how I feel.

I am in a healthy BMI - so striving for this crazy, flat tummy weight that I've occasionally reached, years ago, is just a bit unnecessary right now. I was able to walk much more then and was using heavier weights, which we've now had to sell before our move. There will be a time when I'll have the right size weights again and will be able to go for a solid walk every day, but it is not now. I'll try to be patient. I'll still be working out 3 times a week because I love it, but will just have that glass of water handy when I start sweating buckets. Also took my multi-vits this morning and will try to remember to take them more regularly.

As usual this is mostly for my own records.

I have a hard time remembering to take vitamins myself. Careful being dizzy in the shower! most dangerous place.

Hi Nikina70, happy belated birthday. I'm glad you are doing well. You are my favorite fatsecreter on here. We have walked a long path together. Have a beautiful and blessed day and week. We all know when we need to slow down a bit and take it easy. I have a tendon injury in my right calf and I'm so frustrated. My girlfriends are doing a hike on Saturday and I so badly want to go, but I need to be responsible and let this thing recover completed. I'm delighted that the beaches are open again. Oh man - that is SO sweet of you to remember my birthday, Shereen! Thank you so much for your wonderful message! I had a wonderful day today - went out for a drive along Chapman's Peak and it's just such beautiful weather - I couldn't ask for any better. Yes, so happy the beaches are open again!!! Thanks Katsolo! Yup, hoping not to have a repeat. I did a leg workout this morning and all seemed fine again. Hope you remember to take those vitamins more regularly too!
