Still only maintaining right now when I would like to still lose those last few pesky kilos, but I'm happy that I haven't gained anything this time. Last week I experimented with eating at maintenance calories, which according to research was around 2150. This week I was aiming for 1650 again, but life got in the way and I'm off to a wine festival today with a friend. It's called Soetes & Sop, which basically translates as Sweets & Soup (sweet referring to the wine) so I'm looking forward to the vegetarian options, which will be mushroom and butternut soup and roosterkoek - Yum! So, there's no point counting calories for the rest of the week. Will try to have at least three glasses of water through the day then I can have my fourth at home this evening.

Taking the day off work after quite a few weeks of stressful deadlines and upheaval feels nice (although I kinda did that last Friday as well going to watch End Game during work hours), but I'm a freelancer, so all the evenings and weekends at my desk this past month are making me feel alright about it. Next week will bring it's own challenges and I'll try to stick to the deficit calories then and see what happens. Interested to see what the measurements say at the end of the month. Been doing 70-90 minutes of strength training you tube workouts a week. Quite enjoying Sydney Cummings' channel.

Enjoy the festival and good luck with your plan ahead. My last 3 kilos... they won't go away either, but then I am not doing much to shift it. Haha! I have decided they love me too much to leave me. I have upped my calories also these last 10 days, but with my husband being away over the next few days and me not having to cook dinner for him, I can TRY to lower my intake and see what happens.

So far I am stuck at 77.2Kgs I am working out for 15 to 25 mins a day. Although my weight hasn't changed my waistline has shrunk! So don't rely solely on the scales. I am sure you can do it.
