Thanks moopie! I always appreciate a good shot of a great back, and you put up three! Besides avoiding the kitchen, I bet it’s hard to open your mouth while on your head 🤔

Thanks everyone who supported me❣️ Erq, rosio and acomandr... you guys are the epitome of hitting goal and staying there. There maybe many food temptations along the way but having self control is crucial to maintenance. If one cannot control what goes in the mouth, how can one expect to control what comes out?
Thank you southernace, it’s my first time trying this.
Gibjig, thank you❣️ You are very kind 💞💞💞

Laughingchevre, In the real world triggers are all around. Instead of adding padding to the walls and putting the members in straight jackets, the therapists could teach them how to handle the triggers. I just woke up, sorry if comment is inappropriate.

We agree, moopie. Anyone who has dealt with trauma knows that triggers are everywhere, unpredictable, unexpected (it's not so simple as avoiding representations of violence if you were a victim of violence. something as simple as a sound or color or smell can be a trigger) and that safe spaces are not a solution. What I particularly dislike is the appropriation of the language of trauma when the problem is not trauma - it's insecurity, which is different. No one needs a safe space from other people's fit bodies.

Laughingchevre, I think sometimes people don’t understand why they feel the way they do when they face their triggers. Practicing mindfulness is a way I was able to deal with them. Distinguishing between recreational eating and listening to my hunger cues is how I dealt with not overeating. Distracting myself with movement instead of wandering into the kitchen to stuff my face is how I dealt with my food triggers. 💞💞💞 thank you so much for sharing your experience❣️
