Chicken Julienne

Chicken and mushroom bake topped with sour cream and cheese.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Boil chicken.
  2. Wash, slice and fry mushrooms.
  3. Add chicken to mushrooms, stir.
  4. Into a baking bowl, put chicken and mushrooms.
  5. Add a layer of soured cream.
  6. Grate cheese and top up the bowls.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes in a 180-200 ºC oven.

This was absolutely delicious and didn't take hardly any time to prepare and cook. Will experiment next time by adding some chopped up Turkey bacon rashers to the cheese and soured cream/creme fraiche mixture.

I loved this dish but also tried adding garlic with the mushrooms and replacing the sour cream for half fat creme fraiche which also worked really well and saved a few calories without sacrificing any of the taste.
