Been on low carb now for two and a half weeks, trying to get off drinking pop. I have started today drinking infused water but dont know if there is any carbs when your not eating the fruit veg or herbs that i put in the water i have been using lemon, orange peel, cucumber and mint anyone know if there are carbs in the water?

if u want fizzy without sugar try Pepsi max it's come in cherry ginger and original

There will probably be a small amount of carbs from the infusion but nothing like the amount there would be from the whole fruit. And if you’re only using the peel of the citrus fruits then not so much as it’s the oils that carry the flavour/aroma. Sorry if that’s not much help.

It depends on how much fruit you put in and how long it's left to infuse, but the amount will generally be negligable and, as it's unmeasurable, not worth worrying about.

Cutting out fizzy is great to do the acid causing the fizz can cause some issues with things body-wise. Good move! I drink mint tissanes (teas) but still can’t do it without the sweeteners which aren’t good either. 🙇🏻‍♀️
