JockoT's Journal, 23 Feb 17

I felt I got a better sleep last night, but my Fitbit didn’t think so. Felt hungry this morning, so I ate yesterday’s ham baguette, for breakfast!
Stomach feels as if I have gone 10 rounds but at least I am getting about with little difficulty. My bowels are back to normal, but my waterworks are refusing to work properly. Although I am drinking plenty, I am passing very little, and what I do is taking about 10 minutes!!
Waiting on the snow arriving. It is pouring rain and blowing a gale as Storm Doris starts to build. Quite happy not to be able to get out today.

Had you been warned about possible problems peeing? If not, it might be worth a phone call to be sure it's within the reasonable bounds of healing. It's blowing a hoolie outside this morning so I can just imagine what it's like up your way. Definitely the day to stay in and stay warm plus you have the perfect reason/excuse. Look after yourself!

Sometimes recovery can be a bit of a switchback ride. I hope you are soon on her reporting that everything has settled and you are feeling happy that things are good. xXx

Phooka: I wasn't allowed home on Monday until I could pee. I said I barely managed a dribble but they were happy enough with that. I am not experiencing any discomfort, just the inconvenience of taking 10 minutes to spend a penny!

You sound chipper at least (I've never used or needed the word chipper before, btw). That's bound to be a good reason why you're recovering so well. Nearly there now.

They should have checked in day surgery that you were able to pass a decent amount urine before you left Jocko. If you are drinking plenty but only passing small amounts and it's taking you a long time to pass urine, i would say that is not normal. Would you be able to get in to see your GP?

I pass plenty. It just takes me 10 minutes to do so! Mind you, I am never particularly quick these days!! It seems to be getting back to normal (for me) today.

Oh that's good then Jocko, all the best with your recovery.

You sound much better today Jocko. Keep doing whatever you are doing. Once the swelling goes down you should pass water easier.

Glad you seem to be on the mend jocko. Storm Doris was bad down here in Herts too with railways and roads closed to falling trees and bridges and viaducts closed Hope your recovery continues

All we got was rain and a bit of wind. Just another Scottish winter's day.
