bowd65's Journal, 16 Feb 17

Hi Buddies, sorry i haven't been on much this week. I have just been in work for 3 days and one of them was an extra shift covering for sickness. So i am in again this afternoon then i am off till Monday woo hoo!

I have two bits of good news one of them is fantastic! The ward sister spoke to me on Friday, first we discussed my weight loss and she did a requisition for new uniforms and I am now officially in a small size. I have never been in anything small in my adult life!

The other news is, i have filled out a work/life balance form and it looks like i should get my reduction of hours (30) starting at the beginning of April. So I am really chuffed and feeling a lot better in myself.

In relation to weight loss, it has been up and down this passed two weeks, I am ashamed to say that that at the weekend I actually went back up to 160 pounds. But i am down a bit today. I think some of it is down to that Tom, but i also know that i don't drink enough when i am on shift, so therefore i don't pee all shift and that doesn't help one bit!

My short term goals are:-

To drink more at work and visit the toilet for a pee!
To try my very best to lose 6 pounds by the end of March, which will take me to 153 pounds (just under 11 stone).

So i really hope that i can record a loss tomorrow. Good luck to everyone else weighing in tomorrow.

Will catch up with you all soon!

Fantastic milestone achieved with the small uniform! Good goals too. You need to stay hydrated as it's so important for so many things. Good luck!

Wow, well done you. I expect you danced a jig as I shall when I reach 'small' status! Fantastic on the hours too, must be a big relief.
