IT Contractor who's very much into fitness. (Male 42 years old)

I lost about 3 stones (from 14 to 11 stone) due to an injury on my shoulder 3 years ago, so stopped training. Another reason for losing lots of weight was that I cut out sugar from my diet completely. (or almost completely) Please be aware, there all LOADS of hidden sugars in the foods we eat (milk, bread, yogurt, etc.)

I'm now back in training and introduced 1 day Cardio into my fitness plan.
I've tried to cut out lots of processed foods and replace them with whole foods where I can.

My new goal is to put on some weight (about 1 stone or 6-7kg). My aim is to try and train 4 days a week. 1 Day Cardio and 3 days heavy weights. I'm now going for a "lean" muscularly look rather than a "bulky look". I weigh myself every Thursday morning 1st thing before eating to keep a consistent record.

note to self: 4 days gym this week. 3 days medium weights (volume training) and 1 day cardio. Weight is up, so happy as normal :)
